High-Level Device Manager Routines

The ATA disk driver supports the required set of routines for handling requests from the Device Manager, as defined in the chapter "Device Manager" of Inside Macintosh: Devices. Those routines are briefly defined here for convenience. Additional control functions supported in the ATA disk driver are defined in ATA Disk Driver Control and Status Functions.
